Kaoru, who has no boyfriend nor family, quietly runs a bonsai shop alone in an old house inherited from his grandparents. There he meets a young man in a flashy suit named Riichi. Riichi visits Kaoru every day to enthusiastically gaze upon a withered camellia bonsai that holds a special meaning for Koaru. One day, Riichi collapses from overwork and Kaoru takes care of him.
