Bland. Devoid of charm. Predictable. Derivative. But enough talk about you, let's review the manga.

You would never guess! You have lots in common, babe! Still, you both aren't The Worst. Believe me, because I've seen that, and it's a far cry from Ines' shenanigans.

I mean, I gotta concede: watching her flounder while attempting to sack these three idiots does inspire a smirk or two in me. But sis is asking 100 chapters of my attention. That's an high price. I'm a very busy person you know? I can't take time from my 10-hours-wanking-sessions wïlly nilly.

What's really in these chapters? An okay art, which has frequent issues staying on model while doing profiles. An okay writing, but afflicted by a certain verbosity that will actually bring you to your knees out of exasperation if you don't run through the panels faster than any romantic interest in a 10 miles radius does from you. And honestly, a pretty mediocre characterization; not in depth, not even THAT likeable.

FL is a plain gal with a penchant for mommying abused people, while also pretending not to care. I don't particularly enjoy the trope. The male cast is... There. The Codepedent Puppy is more disturbingly pitiful than anything, War Hero has the visual character design of a ML and the characterization of a cardboard silhouette, while J needs a new name before I die of cringe, and also more in depth development.

As a whole, the cast lacks coherency in dealing with violence, trauma and emotions. Themes like slavery and codependency aren't well managed. Nor is the romance, for that matter: it springs up from nothing, and it's superficial at best.

And that's it. Mediocre. The manga, I mean. Thought I was referring to you again uh? That's great BECAUSE I WAS, I ALWAYS AM, YOU ARE A DISAPPOINTMENT TO YOUR MOTHER AND I!
