Sucks big time on Lan Chi
This story is about a doll who becomes whatever the people around her wants her to be. I don't know what I expected from a story like this.

Rocks on Ultra Alter
Heyah. I'm Ivern, and I'm god**** pis***. Everytime I am in the mood for some action I gotta stomach hordes of children in the comment section, whining about romance and "weak" MCs. Honestly I've had it. You are gon learn today. Yes you will, shut your wh[REDACTED] mouth. Sit down.
Ultra Alter is an atypical VRMMO action manga, for many reasons. Art-wise, while the quality is undisputed, I was surprised by its unique design. The "users" have outfits grounded in reality, but you can see the extraneous elements from the game world due to the distinct appearance they have. They all have a certain design philosophy, from the monsters to the weapons and items. It's a clash between reality and an original fantasy world, a successful one.

The writing is the same, it follows this "mundane people in extraordinary situations" rationale too. Ohreum is written as a considerate, nice boy, a bit shy, a bit hungry for affirmation, and he's coherent from start to finish. He is not weak, he is a real character, with depth. No. Silence. He is. You understand fuc**** nothing. FL too, is surprisingly well written. And best girl also. They are perfect for eachother. Please do throw tantrums about them, we, people who are right, don't [REDACTED] care.
The action itself is... again, particular. The growth is, well, kinda not there. They start as complete game characters, their whole skill set is dubious and not very distinctive, but it DOES resemble a real build from a MMO. I'd be tempted to criticize it, but I suspect that the standard ”growing MC from zero to OP with distinctive powers and skills" was not the objective here. The plot is. The actions is. So it's not bad, just different. Do not expect that kind of experience.
I'm recommending it because it's very strange, and very original in some unique ways. Same tropes, radically different execution. I like it. Because I have good taste. Many of you don't. Because you are bad, bad people.
