BL (Sometimes known as Shounen Ai) Does/Can Infact contain s** scenes, but that's not ever really even half the focus of the plot line. Yaoi, on the other hand, mostly contains sm**, and s** scenes, less focused on a deep plot line, in yaoi relationships are more toxic, and less fluffy. So yeah that's not everyone's thing. I'm sure you knew this, I just wanted to say that Yaoi is more based on s** than BL, so idk why this person (the person who reviewed it) was surprised, it literally says "SM**" in the Genres...
